| This years Firefighter and Paramedic of The Year Award recipients were recognized by the city mayor, Lions Club Officers, and Fire Chief John Herber. Mayor Bruce Boyer commented that the council chambers were "full of firefighters" who were there to support Lt Wilson and Paramedic Specialist Pierce. Mayor Boyer read the proclamations and presented them. The Mayor and the President of the Lions Club presented C Shift's Lt Wilson with a plaque and Fire Chief John Herber presented A Shift's Paramedic Specialist James Pierce with a plaque.
